The EDIUS X interface is divided into three primary windows, which can be customized and saved as layouts:
Whenever you apply heavy effects, color grading, or complex multi-cam layers, EDIUS X processes these elements quietly in the background. You never have to pause your editing to wait for a render bar to finish.

If you shoot an interview with two or three cameras, EDIUS's Multicam mode is a lifesaver. Once you sync your clips, EDIUS will let you switch between them in real-time as the video plays.
