According to legend, Sri Tallapaka Komulapati was a ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara. He was a poet and a musician who spent his life in the service of the Lord. One day, while meditating in the temple of Lord Venkateswara, he received a divine vision of the Lord. Inspired by this vision, he composed the song Sri Srinivasam Sritha Parijatham.
