The Basics:

The RTR FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 for IIS 10 on Windows Server 2016/Windows 10, IIS 8.5 on Windows Server 2012 R2, the RTR FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 for IIS 8 on Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8, and the RTR FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 for IIS 7.5 on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 have the same functionality as both the Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 for IIS 7 on Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista and the Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 for IIS 6 on Windows Server 2003. The only functional difference is that the FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions have now been ported to work with IIS 8.5,  IIS 8 and IIS 7.5.

As such, the basic install prerequisites and procedures have not changed.  The above procedures deal with licensing issues, but for full details on the FrontPage Server Extensions requirements, installation, and operation, please see:

Yuzu Shader Cache

This often means the transferable cache is corrupted or for a different game version (e.g., update 1.1.0 vs 1.2.0). Delete the cache and let Yuzu rebuild it from scratch.

The cache file is typically stored in: yuzu\shader\ or %appdata%\yuzu\shader\

: Many users download community-shared caches to avoid the initial "stuttery" first few hours of a game. To install one, you typically right-click a game in Yuzu and select "Open Transferable Pipeline Cache" to paste the .bin files. yuzu shader cache

Disclaimer: Emulation exists in a complex legal space. Always dump your own game files and system keys from hardware you own. Downloading caches for games you do not own is a legal grey area and violates Nintendo's intellectual property rights.

Modern games feature thousands of unique shaders. On a physical Nintendo Switch, these shaders are pre-compiled specifically for its Nvidia Maxwell hardware architecture. When you run a Switch game on a PC, your computer cannot read those pre-compiled shaders directly. This often means the transferable cache is corrupted

: Once Yuzu compiles a shader, it saves it to your hard drive. The next time the game requests that exact effect, Yuzu loads it instantly from the cache, eliminating the stutter. Types of Shader Caches in Yuzu

Always keep this option checked. Disabling it forces Yuzu to recompile every single shader from scratch every time you launch the game, turning every gaming session into a stuttering mess. 3. Asynchronous Shader Compilation This toggle is a game-changer for performance. To install one, you typically right-click a game

Set your to Vulkan (Vulkan handles shader compilation much faster than OpenGL). Check the box for Use disk shader cache . Switch to the Advanced tab.

Yuzu also offers an option (available in the graphics settings). When enabled, shaders are compiled on background threads while the game continues to run. Missing effects may briefly render as placeholders or invisible, but framerate stutter is greatly reduced. This is a good fallback if you are still building your cache or are using pre‑launch precompilation.
